Jamie’s Ministry of Food Experience

An amazing 10 week experience...

A selected group of Matthew Flinders girls have been participating in a 10-week cooking school conducted by Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food in Moorabool Street, Geelong.

As part of the program, the girls have learnt many cooking skills that they have then been able to transfer into daily living.  They have had the chance to watch demonstrations and then practise what they have seen by making the dishes themselves.  The focus has been on preparing quick and easy meals that are nutritious and healthy.

We are not sure if there are any potential Masterchefs in the group, but they have certainly had a lot of fun and have learned a lot about food preparation.
