Whole School Production The Hidden Talent"
Whole School Production 2018:
The Hidden Talent
Students have been showing “Be brave – participate to progress” in their weekly gymnastics sessions, which started in Week 1 of this term. Please make sure your child can participate the gymnastics sessions in bare foot (no stockings please) as it can be slippery on some of the equipment. The gymnastics routine will be part of our whole school production on the evening of 7th September (Friday).
This year, Huntingdale Primary School is inviting student voice into the making of the whole school production. The year 6 students have been heavily involved in creating the script, organising music and sound effects, crafting pamphlets, set design, costumes, props…as members of the “production crew,” with the support from the HPS community.
The Hidden Talent, written and directed by the Year 6 Scriptwriting Team, is about two students who seek to learn new gymnastics skills to get into a Sports School. They visit different gymnastics classes (performed by F-6 classes), and decide to give it a go – being brave and pursing their personal best. The play will be performed by Year 6 Performer Team, featuring Foundation students throughout the performance.
The tickets are now available for purchase. Please access the link below to purchase your tickets.
If you have any questions about the production or would like to get involved, please talk to Nozomi Koyama or Gill in the office.
