Regional Science Exchange

Mallacoota Students

As mentioned in the previous newsletter we are offering a 1 week stay for all Mallacoota students, separate from our Regional Science Exchange.  We currently have 5 students interested in this program.

The Dates for this program is as follows: 

Sunday 22nd March - Saturday 28th March, 2020

The aim is for the students to have a one week intensive time here at JMSS and immersive themselves in all things science, Monash University and also Melbourne.

Many of you have offered a homestay for these students, and we will be in touch shortly once we have confirmation of the number and names of students. 

Regional Science Exchange

Applications for our JMSS Regional Science Exchange are now OPEN!

The program is also now FREE!! In the past there has been a fee to participate in the program but this has now been covered but the generous donation from the Department of Education and Training.

Available to all Year 10's in all areas of regional Victoria, this year we are offering more places to more students.

If you have any family or friends who you think may be interested, let them know to send in your applications as soon as they can!

Homestay

Thank you all of those families who have already offered their homes for the Regional Exchnage Homestay. This program would not be able to run with out the generosity of our community.

In 2020 exchanges will be offered in two different three-week blocks.

Each block will accommodate a cohort of 20 students.

Dates for 2020 

Term 2

Weeks 3, 4 and 5

Sunday 3 May - Friday 22 May, 2020 

Term 3

Weeks 2, 3 and 4

Sunday 19 July - Friday 7 August, 2020
