Flight Centre
Tamara Moore is a parent of Lyndhurst Primary School, and a mobile travel consultant with Flight Centre. Tamara has kindly offered to donate 1% of total holiday bookings back to the school, when Lyndhurst Primary School is mentioned. 5c Fundraiser
Thank you for the huge number of 5c coins donated for our 5c fundraiser. We raised over $1500 which is a lot of 5 cent pieces! Congratulations to the 3 highest fundraising classes of Prep F, 2F and 1A who will all receive a class party.
Scout Raffle Tickets
Scout Raffle tickets will be sent home before the end of term. The scout raffle is a big fundraiser, as $1.50 from every ticket sold goes directly to the school. Sending the tickets home over the holidays offers an opportunity to ask friends and family if they wish to buy a ticket. Tickets (sold or unsold) are due back Wednesday 26th July.
Annual Trivia Night
The 2017 Trivia Night will be held on Friday 25th August, and promises to be another fantastic evening. We have Allan returning as our host for the night, and we will again have a raffle, silent auctions, live auctions, games and our very popular Key Hamper.

Tickets are on sale now! Ask friends and put together a table of 8, or we can find a table for you.
Family Portraits
Lisa Angus Photography is returning to the school for our Family Portrait fundraiser. For the cost of $15, each family will receive a 20 x 25cm family portrait, and have the opportunity to purchase extra photos on the day. Dates available for the indoor setting at the school are from 9.00-5.00pm on Saturday 5th August and Sunday 6th August. For the same price, you can select the outdoor option at a farm in Yellingbo. Bookings are open until Monday 31st July.
Shopping tour
Save the date for our annual Shopping Tour, to be held on Saturday 14th October. Invite friends and family for a great day of shopping, whilst raising money for the school. Notices will be sent home next week. A $20 deposit will be required to reserve your spot, with the balance due closer to the day.

Aim of 2017 Fundraising
Many parents ask ‘what are we raising money for’?
- Walkathon and Trivia Night are our major fundraisers. Our aim in 2017 from these events is to raise funds for outdoor seating and tables to extend the play spaces, and particularly to encourage quiet spaces. We are also aiming to fund decking and shade sails in the portable areas.
- All other fundraisers from the PFA this year will go towards purchasing a large projector and screen for the school gym to be used for assemblies, parent evenings, movie nights and other community events.
Second Hand Uniform Stall
The Second Hand Uniform Stall will be running regularly, on the 1st Tuesday of every month. The next stall will be held on Tuesday 1st August from 8.30-9.00am and in the afternoon from 3.00-3.45 in the school gym. If anyone has any uniforms they would like to donate to the school, please hand them to the office. All clothes must be clean, without holes and able to be worn.
Meeting
The next PFA meeting will be held on Thursday 10th August at 7.00pm in the school staff room, and we would love to see new parents join us then.
