Student Transport Term 1 2020

A few weeks ago we posted home forms regarding the School Bus Program in an endeavour to establish which students would require bus travel in 2020. Government Secondary students in Shepparton who currently access the School Bus Program, along with those new to the program from 2020, will have access to free travel on school bus services during the transition period to a single campus for the Greater Shepparton College (interim name).

These forms are now overdue and need to be sent back to the school office asap so your child/children do not miss out.  If you have misplaced the form please ask your student to pick up another.

Year 10 Meningococcal W Vaccine

Immunization forms are due back now. Please ensure your student does not miss out. Return your form asap!

Name your student belongings

Many students are now making the change from winter to summer uniforms.  This is a great time to make sure you have clearly named all belongings.   Any item handed in to lost property is promptly returned to the rightful owner when it has a name on it. The school is not responsible for personal items and we recommend leaving anything of value at home.

If you need assistance with uniforms for the remainder of 2019 please see the office we have second hand items - no charge!

Collecting your student early

If you need to collect your child before the end of the school day please provide them with a note from home. This way, the student can show their class teacher and be dismissed so they are waiting at the office to be collected when you arrive.  It is not always timely for students to be located at short notice. Class rooms often change and sport or other activities could mean your student cannot be readily located. 

Please remember that it is preferable that students do not miss valuable school time to attend appointments that could be scheduled outside of school hours.  Students must not leave school grounds at any time without signing out at the office.

Update your details

Please remember to notify the office if you are changing your contact details.

Absence Line

Reminder to all parents to please notify the school on 5821 4322 ext 2 whenever your student/s will be absent.  It is an Education Department requirement that schools clarify every student absence.
