West Footscray Community Facilities Plan Consultation
Update and next steps
Hi Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG) members,
I hope everyone is well and keeping safe.
Thank you again to those who provided feedback during stage four of consultation.
A large volume of feedback was received which has been reviewed and assessed, and adjustments to the master plans has been made based on key themes of the feedback.
The updated master plans have now been reviewed by Council and approved to be exhibited for final consultation.
On Monday 27 July a two week consultation period will commence to exhibit the updated masterplans to the community, and to invite formal submissions of feedback on these revisions.

Leading up to and during the consultation period, the following will be used to inform residents of the consultation, how to provide feedback, and the proposed next steps:
- Your City Your Voice website page with updated masterplans, FAQs and fact sheet
- Letter box drop to 8,700 local residents
- Emails to WFCFP subscribers
- Email to stakeholders
- Star Weekly Newspaper Ad
- Maribyrnong Newsletter
- Signage around the reserves
- Facebook posts and paid adverts
- Twitter posts
- Maribyrnong blog update
Following closure of the consultation on Monday 10 August, submissions will be reviewed and any further adjustments to the master plans will be made as appropriate. The final plans will then be presented to Council for consideration and adoption during September.
