Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing at Trinity

Students and staff have had a very positive start to remote learning and some children are attending school onsite. Thank you as always for your ongoing support of our staff and the work they are doing to ensure that your children have the best possible opportunities to learn during the coming weeks.

This term in the area of Wellbeing Curriculum all staff were introduced to the Respectful Relationships Program. The Program is an initiative to support schools promote and model respect and equality. It also supports educators to teach children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

All classes will deliver unit one ‘Emotional Literacy’ as part of their wellbeing learning. I also encourage you at home to discuss with your children how they are feeling as a check in to address any concerns or anxiety they may have with what is going on around them.

Our school commitment to the Berry St Education Model will also continue remotely with all classes implementing brain breaks and daily check- ins and concluding the day with a

"What went well” Google Meet.

Trinity Catholic School is committed to creating an environment where the safety, wellbeing and participation of all children within our care is paramount. As part of our commitment to child safety we encourage all families to have discussions about online safety and activities during remote learning.

Under Government Legislation all schools must meet compulsory standards for the protection of Children. This also requires all staff and volunteers to meet the guidelines.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please contact me -
