Welcome Back families - Updates to Before and After School Care

In 2019, we want to start fresh and provide a safe, fun and enjoyable experience for all children and families utilising our OSHC program. 

This year working alongside Jane as the Long Term - Permanent Coordinator is Sarah Herbert. Sarah is a passionate and motivated Mentor Coordinator, who over the past 6 months has been supporting Jane at the program as an Emergency Coordinator, as well as outside of OSHC hours with the service’s displays, room layout and resources the children engage with every day. Whilst supporting Jane throughout this time, Sarah was also coordinating her own Camp Australia OSHC Program at another site. Sarah is currently studying her Diploma of Outside School Hours Care – specialising in school age children, internally with Camp Australia. Sarah will continue to be supported by the entire Camp Australia Team in her new role.

Sarah with the children over the past few days together created different fun, child suggested activities that will be occurring at After School Care over the upcoming weeks – take a look below!

Sarah is excited to be working a Black Rock Primary School, please make her feel welcome and visit the program so she can introduce herself.

The above planned activities will be offered on the programmed day at After School Care. If there are children who don’t wish to participate in these, they will always have the opportunity to engage in alternative planned and spontaneous activities and have unlimited access to all resources within the program, indoors and outdoors.
