Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Families and Community members,

Icy Pole Canteen

This week the Grade 5-6 students opened the canteen to sell Icy Poles during recess and lunch. This has been a huge success and has proven very popular with big queues every day.

The Icy Pole Canteen will be open every recess and lunch for the remainder of term.

A reminder that icy poles are $1 and that we will encourage students to purchase a maximum of one icy pole per day and that buying for friends is not possible.

New Playground

The new Prep - Grade 2 playground opened this week and what a hit it has been! It has been great to see the excitement of students from all year levels having an opportunity to play on the new equipment.

Geelong Animal Rescue Donation Bin

ACS is supporting GAR again this term by holding a Donation Bin at school for the first 4 weeks of term.  All donations of pet food, blankets, collars, leads, beds etc would be gratefully accepted during this time.

All donations to be bought into the school office by

Friday 1st November, 2019.

"GAR is a 100% volunteer run organisation, relying on our community to help us rescue and re-home our animals. Through the placement of these Donation Bins we are able to provide food and supplies (beds, leads/collars etc) to our foster animals awaiting their forever homes."

School Hats

A reminder that students must wear a hat at recess and lunch play during Term 4.
