Year 2 Artists Visit the Mayor
Mayor Steve Stefanopoulos awarded the Year Two class piece ‘AUSTRALIA POST’ the 2019 Art Show Mayor’s Award.
Today the Year Twos visited Mayor Steve. Steve took the children on a tour around the town hall, including his office, the balcony, the formal dining room, formal living room and the chamber. He also showed the children the Mayor’s gown and chains.
At the conclusion of the tour the children had a beautiful morning tea.
The Year Twos had an incredible time and learnt a lot of history. I think we will have a few junior mayors in the making.
Enjoy the photos.
Wishing all of our beautiful families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - enjoy looking through your children’s port folios. Folios will he sent home by Tuesday next week. Thank you for support over the year!
