From the Head of Primary

Message from the Head of Primary - Miss Claire Dalziel

Each week in Primary we have a focus for the week, it is something that draws our thinking together and is outside of the curriculum. It is something that helps us as a learner to assist our learning. This term, we are using the character strengths from Growing Strong Minds. We are growing strong minds every day, every one of us, not just at school, but in everything we do, in work, in play and in our interactions with others. As a family, take time to think about the focus of the week and make links between home and school.

This week, our focus is Open-Mindedness. We will be encouraging the children to think things through and be open to different people and ideas.

Over the next few weeks, we have lots in store, Science Days, Excursions, HRIS Athletics and in a month – Grandparents Day. If you haven’t already – please jump onto the HUB and scroll through the Primary Daily Notices. Everything you need to know is in there.

"15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe."

Have a wonderful week.

Claire Dalziel
