Basketball

The Semester two Basketball competition will commence Wednesday 31 July with trial games. 

There are vacancies in some teams and interested players will need to contact Mrs Lasker or email sport@calrossy.nsw.edu.au.

Rugby Union

The Regional Rugby competition commences Friday 26 July. Our three teams under 14, under 16 and Opens all play in Armidale on the 26th.

The local Under 14 competition will commence early Term 3. 

Term 3 will see the start of a 7 a side competition for girls only, which will be played in three age groups under 13, under 15 and under 17. The age groups have been changed this Term to complement the pathway provided in 7’s Rugby to compete at Regional and NSW Championships. The competition will begin on Friday 2 August (Week 2 Term 3) and continue for five weeks. 

Training for all girls teams will recommence Week 2 Term 3. 

The Rugby Union Draws are constructed by the manager of each competition, Regional and Local. These draws are placed on the HUB as soon as they are received at Calrossy. 

The draws release time is dependent on communication from Schools, clubs and referee availability. This communication is delivered at different times and so impacts on the publication time of the draws. Due to this a yearly draw for each competition is impossible to publish

Hockey

Term 3 Monday night Hockey will recommence with games on Monday 29 July.  The draw for each weeks games and a complete draw for Term 3 is available on the HUB. 

HRIS Athletics

The Calrossy HRIS Athletics team consisting of 53 athletes will compete at the HRIS Championships on Monday 29 July. I wish all our athletes an injury free and successful Carnival. Successful athletes have the opportunity to represent HRIS at the AICES Carnival on 9 September at Homebush.
