Primary Students (Prep to Year 6)
TAKE IT EASY TUESDAY IS NOW “MANIC MONDAY MUNCHIES” AND SUSHI IS HERE TO STAY.
The hot lunch option that is normally available on Tuesdays, will now be available on Mondays instead. The addition of Sushi on Wednesdays means that students can receive pre ordered meals on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays of each week

If an order has not been received for a primary student, and they are therefore not on the casual list to receive lunch for that day, a vegemite sandwich (or similar simple option) will be provided and a cost of $3.00 will be added to the school fee account.
Qkr is our preferred payment method for all catering orders as it provides a daily report to the catering team to assist with casual orders. When ordering on Qkr, please be sure to select the correct delivery date. Any manual/late orders after the cut off time may not be processed in time for the student to receive lunch.
In the event that your child is not at school on a day that lunch has been ordered, we are unable to provide refunds.

The Annual General Meeting of the Calrossy Parents and Friends Association will be held on Monday 5 August commencing at 6.00 Pm in the MakerSpace Room at the Brisbane Street Campus.
Everyone is invited to attend.
The ordinary monthly meeting will follow the AGM.

Term 3 Primary Library News
Welcome back to a wonderful new term of reading. In Term 3 we celebrate the joy of literature with our focus on Book Week in Week 5 “Reading Is My Secret Power”. We will be holding a Book Fair in Pod 2 all week and our Super Cape Day will be on Thursday 22nd August. As well as purchasing books from Book Fair, students will be able to buy a Super Hero Cape in Book Week for $10 with all proceeds going to Muscular Dystrophy Australia. Capes can be worn over the sports uniform on our Super Cape Day. We hope our students will enjoy raising money and being Super Hero’s for kids with Muscular Dystrophy so they can have a future filled with hope.
