Drop off and Pick up Routines
Please note that the Back Yard is designated to families with surnames I-S. If you are dropping off/picking up from the Back Yard please make a left turn when exiting the driveway. We are striving to keep traffic flowing as smoothly as possible, if you need to wait to enter the driveway please pull your car in close to the side of the road so that other cars can pass by. Thank you for your support.
If your family was regularly walking or riding to school each day and you were usually dropping off and picking up at the office then we are still expecting you to do so. In the event that you have now decided to drive, please advise the office so that your child is at the correct pick up point.
- Please note that if you usually drive but decide "on the day" to walk or ride at pick up time you will need to call the office and let us know so that we can ensure your child is at the correct pick up point.
Please see below for our drop off and pick up times for our families:-
Our Farm
Last week we noticed that KFC (Kid Friendly Chicken) did not appear to be very well.
After a visit to our vet, KFC was diagnosed as suffering from endometriosis, a common condition in this breed and requires ongoing medication and care.
We have decided to rehome her where she can get the ongoing medical treatment she requires.
Many thanks to all those who have visited/fed/looked after our chickens, particularly during the remote learning period.
Thanks Haley

Threads of Connection
While we can’t be physically close at the moment, finding ways to stay connected is more important than ever. In partnership with artists from The Ball Room Projects, we are sending out play-based activity packs to let you join in the fun during Children’s Week.
There are three activities in each pack for your family to enjoy and explore ‘thread’ as a symbol for human connection.
Visit the Children’s Week page on our website to register for a free at home play pack that will delivered to you: www.maribyrnong.vic.gov.au/childrensweek
Submit photos of your fun to have the photos added to the online gallery: www.maribyrnong.vic.gov.au/childrensweek, or upload to social media using the tags #marimoments #childrensweekthreads
This activity is tailored to children aged 2-5 years, but the whole family can enjoy!
