Year 7s Back in School

Pearls and Sand activity

Reflecting on the first 2 weeks back at school

Being back at school has been a huge relief for everyone, including teachers. We get to socialise, interact with our peers and experience hands-on year 7 learning! Being back at school has made us feel more supported and connected. Last week our class did a pearls and sand activity. The grains of sand represented the bad and irritable aspects about lockdown and home learning, on the other hand the pearls represented the positive and enjoyable aspects of home learning and lockdown as pearls are made of sand. In tough times always look for the positive and that's how we represented our time in lockdown.

The Year 7s have also been busy creating farewell posters for our Year 12s, encouraging them and wishing them good luck for their exams. These posters will be displayed throughout the A Block, to remind the Year 12s that the rest of the school community is thinking of them.
