French Excursion


Year 11 French cuisine excursion at Noir restaurant

The Year 11 French students were given the opportunity this year to go on a French lunch at the restaurant Noir. We arrived with a warm welcome, and began our lunch with bread, butter and oil to have over conversations in French. The entree was comté gougères, which are like soft cheese puffs. We then were given a choice for our main; between a calamari salad, gnocchi, vegetables & pesto, and a duck confit pappardelle. We ended the lunch with an orange & chocolate gâteau (cake). All the food was lovely, and we were very grateful to Noir and out hardworking teachers for the experience!
