COVID Safety Updates

It is important to remember that the lowering of restrictions is based on up-to-date health advice and takes many factors into consideration. We want to remind families that personal steps can also be taken to increase protection for individuals and the school will support students who wish to take these steps wherever possible.

Here at school, we will continue to balance the need to provide a school environment that reduces transmission of infections as much as possible for our students and staff with the need for our parents and carers to return on site, connect with each other and engage in their children’s learning.

What this means for you:

  • Parents and carers are allowed on the school grounds. We ask adults to stay outside the classrooms unless an appointment has been made prior, but we would love to see you in the yard or at Sprout before or after school!
  • Masks are no longer required for students, staff or visitors, however individuals can choose to wear a mask if they want and are recommended.
  • There has been no change to vaccination requirements for staff or volunteers working with children. Visitors who are not working directly with students such as our Mud Stomp event do not require vaccination.
  • RATs will continue to be made available to families wanting them (at a rate of two tests per student, per week) for the first four weeks of term 2. RATs can be collected

We will communicate with our whole school community through Sentral of any safety requirement updates as they are published. If you have any questions, please contact the office:
