Level 3/4

Level 3 and 4

Welcome back to the Level 3 and 4 families. We hope you have all had a good break after our longest term onsite of the last couple of years.

We have launched back into our learning this week with learning around the ANZACs and the celebrations from ANZAC Day. The students did some research on important symbols and items associated with ANZAC Day, and heroic figures associated with the World Wars.

In Level 4 we have started writing this term by focusing on the genre of narrative writing. We have been working on the purpose and structure of narrative writing. For reading, we have been concentrating on the strategy of visualizing. We have been using the five senses and working with ANZAC literature and poetry to help us enhance our visualizing abilities. Multiplication has been the focus of our Maths work. We have been working on developing different strategies to help us solve our Multiplication equations.

To start off our Inquiry learning in Level 3 and 4 for Term Two we are going to be working on the Inquiry unit of Communities and how things have changed over time. We are also continuing our work on the Resilience Project.

We have a lot of things coming up on our calendar this term including several excursions and incursions so keep an eye out on the calendar. We hope everyone has a fantastic term.
