Maths Games Day

31 March 2022 Maths Games Day.

Mornington Secondary College was so excited to announce that we could have our first onsite and in person Maths Games Day with the amazing Andrew Lorimer-Derham from Thinksquare and Jessica Mount from the Maths Association Victoria. 

Deb Bibby, Rebeca Stroud and various staff during the day also supported the students. 

We had 60 students competing in Years 7-10 using creative resources from Thinksquare to problem solve in teams through various Maths Problems and challenges. 

The students were encouraged to show courage, creativity and collaboration during the event and it was incredible to see the level of participation and enjoyment in all the Maths activities. 

We love seeing our students so engaged and enriched.
