‘HELLO and WELCOME BACK’

from Samuel, one of our Wellbeing Leaders

Hello Everyone,

I hope remote learning was great for everybody and that you completed your work. For Wellbeing today I’m going to talk about my experience in remote learning and working from home. I'm going to tell you what worked well for me, which was getting my work done early and getting more time to do whatever I wanted to do. Joining zoom meetings and getting to see my friends was nice.

But my time in remote learning wasn’t perfect. I sometimes get frustrated with my work but I decided to take breaks from work and I find that it calms me down. My favourite learning activity during remote learning was art. We are currently creating our own Olympic mascots for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.

The only thing I didn’t like during remote learning was my brother nagging me 24/7. Honestly siblings don’t get it when you ask them to leave you alone. During remote learning I found myself missing contact in the flesh with my friends because it isn’t the same online, and I’m looking forward to seeing them all again.

I’m also looking forward to seeing all of you now we are back at school!
