HELP STOP THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS BY KEEPING YOUR DISTANCE. REMEMBER DO NOT SHAKE HANDS OR EXCHANGE PHYSICAL GREETINGS. WHEREVER POSSIBLE STAY 1.5 METRES APART AND PRACTICE GOOD HAND HYGIENE. 1.5M TOGETHER CAN HELP STOP THE SPREAD AND STAY HEALTHY.
Welcome to the end of Term 2. After a brief return to restrictions, similar to the ones we experienced in 2020, things are up and running again.
The good news is we are forging ahead with the School Production, Pathways programs, excursions and incursions.
A new initiative is the Northern Territory Tour, which is currently being planned for June/July 2022 for senior students. We also hope that Term 3 will see the re-introduction of the Multicultural Dinner.
Families are reminded that Day 1 Term 3 is Tuesday 13 July. Staff will be undertaking professional development on Monday 12 July.
The plan is for Year 10 tutoring with St Joseph's to re-commence on Tuesday 20 July, As well, the English Language Program with Jacqui Adams, in the Family Learning Centre, will re-commence on Monday 19 July.

Key Production Rehearsal Dates
Rehearsals will be: Mondays @ lunch time and Thursdays after school @ 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
- All Day Rehearsal at Monash Theatre - Wednesday 14th July 9am-5pm. Students to make their own way there.
- There will be two ALL DAY school holiday rehearsals on Thursday 8th July & Friday 9th July 2021 9am-5pm. Attendance for ALL cast members is compulsory.
- There will be six Sunday rehearsals on the following dates at the school:
- Sunday 20th June 2021 10am-1:30pm
- Sunday 18th July 2021 10am - 1:30pm
- Sunday the 25th July 2021 10am -1:30pm
- Sunday the 1st August 2021 10am - 1:30pm
- Sunday the 8th August 2021 10am - 1:30pm
- Sunday the 15th August 2021 10am - 4pm #Extended rehearsal
PRODUCTION WEEK:
- Production week will be Monday 16th August 2021 - Saturday 21st August 2021.
- Attendance for Cast & Crew is mandatory for this week at the Alexander Theatre, Monash. Students must make their own way to and from the venue
- Monday 16th August 9am - 5pm* CREW ONLY.
- Tues 17th August 9am - 5pm
- Wednesday 18th August 9am - 5pm
- Thursday 19th August 9am - 11pm
- Friday 20th August 5.30pm - 11pm
- Saturday 21st August 12pm - 11.30pm * Assist with Bump Out.
Front Office Reminders
HOLIDAY HOURS: The school office is open Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm during the school holidays.
LEAVING EARLY: If your daughter is leaving school early for any reason, please make sure she has a signed note from Parent/Guardian to give to her Homeroom Teacher in the morning. Your daughter needs to then bring that signed note with her to the Front Office at the time of her departure. It is your daughter’s responsibility to come to the office at the time arranged for pick up. Students are NOT PERMITTED to make their own way home or to an appointment. A Parent or Guardian MUST come into the front office to pick up the student. Students are asked NOT to make contact with Parents/Guardians directly via their mobile phone, to arrange to go home while at school as use of their mobile phone is not permitted. This contact will be made by Front Office or teaching staff only.
LATE TO SCHOOL: Please make sure your daughter signs in at the Front Office if she is late to school. If she does not sign in at the Front Office you will receive an SMS asking to explain her absence.
ILLNESS: During this COVID time we ask please that, if your daughter is displaying ANY symptoms, she remains at home until she is well or alternatively gets tested.
COVID ABSENCES: If your daughter is going to be absent from school for any reason please make sure you ring the Front Office to inform them, preferably before 9.30 am. The Front Office staff will then mark your daughter’s roll accordingly so you do not receive an SMS.
