Foundation Police Incursion

On Thursday 11th of March, we had Senior Constable Samuel McCaskill and Sergeant Simone Prictor visit us from Victoria Police. They spoke to us about the role of police officers within our community and how they can keep us safe. The students also learnt about the importance of ‘stranger danger’ and learnt how to dial 000 for an emergency. Everyone had such a fun time looking at the police vehicle and all of the equipment that Samuel and Simone use. We thank Samuel and Simone for their time.

Counting in Maths

This week we have been using picture books to support us in learning to count. Some of the books we have been reading include; The Hungry Caterpillar, Ten Black Dots, Ten Apples up on Top and One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab. We have also been singing some songs to support our counting like; There were 10 in the Bed and 5 Little Ducks.
