2023 Grade 4s - Chromebook Information Evening

Dear Families,

It's that time of year again, where we welcome our current Grade 3 students families to join us in our Chromebook Information Evening. 

At Oatlands Primary School, we offer a 1:1 Bring Your Own Chromebook Program to all students from Years 4 - 6.  Digital Technologies are dramatically changing how we educate our students. By increasing the level of access to digital devices, students can leverage learning opportunities that are interactive, differentiated and collaborative in nature. The targeted and effective application of technology, coupled with the quality and of instruction, can enhance student learning.

Oatlands Primary School plays an important role in introducing technology to our students and ensuring it is used appropriately to enable effective learning. As a school, we have opted to use Chromebooks as our mandated device across Foundation to Year 6. 

In readiness for your child to enter our Grade 4-6 BYOC Program next year, please tune into our live online session, discussing all things Chromebook and how they are integrated into classroom learning. Brett from Learning With Technologies will also be joining us to discuss device specifics, pricing and how to order.

Beleza School Uniforms

Dear School Community,

We would like to inform you of the upcoming reduced hours on the last day of term and store closure during the first week of School holidays. On Friday 16th September 2022, the Beleza retail store will have reduced hours closing at 2pm. The retail store will be closed Saturday 17th September 2022 and will reopen for normal trading hours Monday 26th September 2022 for the first week of School holidays. Please refer to the attached letter for further information.

Please also forward this information onto families within your School community so they are aware of the upcoming reduced hours and closure of their local Beleza store. We apologise for any inconveniences this change in hours may cause and appreciate your understanding.
