The Arts

Across the school, we have been continuing to work on projects. In Prep, students are painting self portraits. This week, students are starting to paint favourite clothes on their bodies.....and I have to say, there are some very stylish and elaborate outfits planned!

In Grades 1 and 2, students are creating a 'dream' painting and collage. Students, could record their dreams and aspirations or dreams they have had when asleep or a mix.

Grade 3 and 4 are creating still life artworks. Students thought about different materials and looked for light and shade to create form, shape, and texture. 

Grade 5 and 6 are working on portraits of people they admire or take an interest in. There has been a wide selection of people chosen from musicians, sportspeople, actors, You-tubers, family members and characters.
