Nationals

The aerobics program has been working very hard recently and from 19 to 22 August 80 current and former students made the journey to the Gold Coast to compete at the 2022 Aerobics National championships. 

After two years of hard work with limited rewards, all of the students had an incredible time representing our school, and came away with some stunning results. 

 With 21 different performances, MGSC came away with: 

• Tara Ash : 3rd in Yellow Singles 
• Lily and Liv : 2nd in Orange pairs
• Gatsby : 2nd in Old Skool Fitness
• Larger than Life : 3rd in Stage 2 Aerobics
• Caitlyn and Ojas : 3rd in Stage 3 pairs
• Sophie and Tenaya : 2nd in Stage 3 Pairs
• Revenge : 2nd in Old Skool Aerobics 
• Hannah Walker : 3rd in Old Skool Blue audition
• Ashli Sali : 2nd in Old Skool Orange audition 
• Boogie Fever : 9th in Stage 3 teams
• Dancing Divas : 7th in Stage 1 teams
• Skater Girls : 9th in Stage 1 teams
• Crystals : 10th in Stage 1 teams
• Sapphires : 12th in Stage 1 teams
• Maddie and Eva : 4th in Stage 3 pairs 
• Backstreet Girls : 7th in Stage 2 teams
• Caitlyn Hughes : 6th in Stage 3 Singles

And two routines in first place making them nationals champions!!

• Rikki Andison : 1st in Old Skool Blue audition
• California Girls : 1st in Stage 3 teams

I want to congratulate everyone who medalled at nationals, as well as all the teams that didn't, but have still worked so incredibly hard, and came away with some amazing results. Thank you to everyone who has helped the program, coaches, and especially Miss Molina, for all of your hard work in making this weekend possible.
