Wear it Purple day 

Assisted by Kingston Youth Services, the school community recognised Wear it Purple day last Friday. Through lunchtime events and by wearing a touch of purple the aim was to celebrate diversity and support young people from the LGBTIQA+ community. There was purple and rainbow badges, facepaint and decorations everywhere plus a special visit from an ice cream truck.

Creating Conversations

Some local community organisations have combined to offer a workshop for parents and carers about issues around teenage suicide.  It's on Saturday 10 September. 2 to 4pm, at the Danny Frawley Wellness Centre, Linton St, Moorabbin.

Kingston Youth Services

KYS runs events and offers services for young people connected to the local area through where they live, work or study.  

 

Glitter and Glow celebrates all our LGBTIQA+ youth in the City of Kingston. Prizes for best dressed given out, a photobooth, the best beats from our live DJ, drag queen performances and so much more!

Counselling and Youth Work Support

Kingston Youth Services provides Counselling and Youth Work Support at Platform 81 for any young person aged 12-25, who lives, works or studies in the City of Kingston. There is no need for a mental health care plan and sessions are free. Referral Options:
