Share the dignity 

The year 10 students as part of their THRIVE personal learning program have taken up the  Share the Dignity's 'It's in the Bag' cause and asking the MGSC community to assist.

The campaign prepares bags with essential items to assist specific community members in need or crisis.  They are aiming towards having them available in term 4.  Grab your bag and fill them with items as suggested below. 

Essentials for Adult bags

• Sanitary and period products (pads, tampons, incontinence pads, reusable pads, period-proof underwear and menstrual cups). We collect this variety of period products, so everyone in need receives their preferred period product.
• Shampoo (full size preferred)
• Conditioner (full size preferred)
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant (roll-on or tins like No Pong only, no aerosols)
• Soap or body wash

Essentials for Teen bags

• Sanitary and period products suitable for young bodies (pads, tampons, incontinence pads, reusable pads, period-proof underwear and menstrual cups)
• Shampoo (full size preferred)
• Conditioner (full size preferred)
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant (roll-on or tins like No Pong only, no aerosols)
• Soap or body wash

Please identify a teen bag by using a yellow bag tag or ribbon

Essentials for Mum & bub bags

• Sanitary and period products suitable for mums (Maternity pads, incontinence pads etc.)
• Shampoo & Conditioner (full size preferred)
• Toothbrush & toothpaste
• Deodorant (roll-on or tins like No Pong only, no aerosols)
• Soap or body wash
• Breast pads
• Newborn nappies
• Baby Shampoo & Conditioner
• Baby soap or wash
• Disposable nappy bags
• Baby wipes
• Dummies
• Nappy rash cream

Please identify a Mum & bub bag by using a purple bag tag or ribbon

When done there is a collection bin at the General Office.
