Captain's Corner

Hello, my name is Nevin your 2022 School Captain. I am pleased to be able to provide you with an update on our on-going handball competition that has been running at lunchtimes over the last few weeks. 

The school captains and I have been working very hard in the background to ensure our first GWPS handball competion is a success. We are very happy with how the competition has been going. 

Congratulations to the following students who have won thus far. 

Yug and Avyukt for winning the Year 2 competition

Jaik and Sadew for winning the Year 3 competition

Tanmay and Tahj for winning the Year 4 competition. 

Each player/ team competed against 16 different teams which included 3 rounds of handball. It was wonderful to see real teamwork and sportsmanship being displayed throughout the competition. . 

Stay tuned for our next announcement on who is crowned the Year 5 & Year 6 Handball Competition Winners. All winners will receive a special  certificate and trophy in a special assembly held on Monday 5th September.
