Cricket Victoria Clinic - Year 4, 5 & 6
We were lucky enough to have Justin from Cricket Victoria at school to run the year 4, 5 and 6 students through a cricket clinic during their P.E session. The students played 'Scorcher Ball' and 'Golden Child' whilst working on their fielding and bowling skills.
Open Water Learning Experience - Year 3, 4 5, & 6
As part of our Swimming program year 3 to 6 students will be taking part in an Open Water Learning Experience at Frankston Beach on the following days:
Year 3 & 4 - Wednesday 7th December
Year 5 & 6 - Friday 9th December
The aim of the program is to make Everyday Lifesavers’ out of Victorian students, by teaching them practical and engaging water safety, lifesaving and emergency response skills. The OWLE program is designed to empower students to make safe aquatic related decisions while enjoying their local waterway.
We look forward to having all the students attend this subsided program, it is always a fun day.
Media Arts
A special mention to all of the students who have received a Positive Point in Media Arts this term. Students have been working well together on their group projects. A big congratulations to 2b for getting the Arts Award this week.
The Juniors have nearly completed their digital story books so they will be uploading their videos on Seesaw in Week 7 or 8, depending on the class. This is so families get to see what their child has been working on every week... Watch this space!
The Middles have completed their animated movies on StopMotion this week, so they will also be uploading their video to Seesaw from next week.
The Seniors have just completed their pre-production activities for their animated videos so filming will begin next week. Families will definitely get to see their movies on Seesaw in a few more weeks- it'll be worth the wait!!

What type of rock is that? The junior school were hard at work classifying rocks and performing an experiment to see if we could identify sedimentary rocks. Magnifying glasses, goggles and vinegar always equals fun!
Senior School
We are gearing up to designing and making our Rube Goldberg Simple Machine. Year 5's had a great time working out how to make pulley's work and create a chain reaction with dominos!

Muffin madness has hit! I don't think any of these muffins will make it home to you! Banana and choc chip muffins are such a quick, easy and healthy treat to make. We talked about how we can reduce food waste by freezing bananas instead of throwing them out. So the recipe is a winner in many ways, some students added dates and honey to their muffins for an extra bit of sweetness.
