Building and Grounds News

Isn't it exciting to see the changes that are occurring onsite this term?  No longer do you need your 'imagination glasses' when you look at the building site.  It is time to celebrate some of the new parts of the grounds that have opened this week and the progress that we are making.

We opened our new toilet area and the concrete area was increased just in time for the fete. This gives us lots more room to run around. We cannot wait until this area is planted.

From the front of the school you can also see the progress being made.  The terraced areas are starting to take shape.

Capital Works updates

The completion date for all remaining works at CSPS is 9th December.  The team at Newton Manor Construction are working diligently, around the clock for this to be a reality.  

We cannot wait to have the school grounds to ourselves. Imagine how much play space we will have, especially a new basktball/netball court?

External Works current progress

• New water metres installed
• Block A & Eastern Terrace retaining walls ongoing
• Mower ramps commenced
• Stormwater pits installed
• Sub-floor ventilation installed

Anticipated works

• Front fence to be completed
• Eastern boundary fence to be completed
• Central Courtyard concrete pour to be completed
• Gathering Terrace paving to be completed
• Stair 02 nosing, tactiles & handrails to be fast tracked for OHS
