Principal's Message

Aspire ~ Celebrate ~ Reflect

Dear Parents,

It's at this time of year we are thinking and planning ahead for the next calendar year.

We have been holding Subject Information Evenings and Subject Advice Afternoons for some of the senior grades which are designed to assist parents and students which subjects would be the best fit.

Our Year 12s have online forms to complete to assist staff when writing reports and references, and they're getting near the end of their Year 12 academic year with a multitude of demands on their time. It's at this stage that time management is crucial to ensure students maintain good physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

We are blessed here at St Philip's to have some of the most dedicated staff I have had the honour to work with. They go above and beyond to ensure our students have the opportunities to excel, with many staff sacrificing their weekends and personal time to assist our students, and I would like to take this opportunity to say - thank you.

This week we celebrated Reading Week with a quiz, and students dressed as their favourite fictional character. Some of the outfits were very creative - well done.

As we commence our planning for 2022, if you are aware that you will be moving, can you please advise our Registrar, Janine Cooper via email, as this will assist us greatly.

Thank you and Be Kind Always,

~ Mr Roger Herbert
