Reverse Advent Calendar

This year, the St Joseph’s College community will be assisting the Echuca Neighbourhood House to create Reverse Advent Calendars.

Instead of opening a door to reveal a chocolate each day, students and families are invited to donate an item of toiletries, canned food, or a Christmas treat, which will then be distributed by the Echuca Neighbourhood House to families in need in our local community. 

To make things interesting and fun, the school is turning the reverse advent calendar campaign into a new rendition of the Twelve Days of Christmas, to guide donations which can be donated to the collection boxes.

As a guide, the following items can be donated during the first two weeks. We will provide suggestions for further items next month.

A box to donate items will be available in the school library. 

It is not compulsory to donate the items outlined above if not suitable, this is just a guide as to what could be donated so that the hampers contain a variety of useful goods. All items gratefully received.
