Boarding News

Mrs. Kathryn Searle - Head of Boarding

What an exciting week to finish the term with the announcement our Secondary School will be co-educational from 2023.  We also are thrilled with the news that the Boarding House will be receiving much-needed refurbishments. When plans are finalised, they will be communicated with you.

The girls have had a great term. I am very proud of how positive they were and how they conducted themselves throughout lockdown earlier in the term. We are very grateful to end without another lockdown.

As another term closes, we will be farewelling two of our Residential Boarding Supervisors, Miss Ella and Miss Kam.  We thank Ella and Kam for their dedication and support to our boarding students and wish them well with their future endeavours.

The Boarding House will close for the term on Friday at 5:00 pm.  Boarders’ return day for Term 4 is Monday 4 October by 4:00 pm. Please remind the girls of the uniform policy upon their return from holidays which is natural coloured hair (one colour only), no acrylic nails, no fake eyelashes, no fake tans and no other piercings other than one sleeper or stud earring only per ear.

Please enjoy a happy and safe spring holiday and I look forward to welcoming the girls back for Term 4.
