PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

When considering our core value of service, what normally comes to mind is performing a variety of tasks for the benefit of others. Volunteering, giving someone a lift somewhere, or lending a hand to a friend offer immediate and mutually rewarding results.

However, there are ways to serve others that may not involve an observable outcome. We can be of service by building others up when failure disheartens and life’s struggles appear to tear them down. Giving an honest compliment or saying a kind word can make a world of difference, so let us consciously and selflessly decide to put our words to good use and empower one another.

In the spirit of building up our community with heartfelt compassion and gratitude, I congratulate all our students, staff, and the families of both on continuing to adapt to change and cope with disruptions during the past term. You are resilient. You are capable. You are appreciated. You are seen. You matter.

I hope everyone will enjoy safe and happy school holidays with some time set aside for both restful and carefree pursuits.

God Bless,

Mrs Marg Blythman
