Farewell to Year 12
Last Friday, 29 October, was the last day of classes for Year 12. Usually wrapping up at the end of Term 3, the departure of our 2021 cohort was delayed by Covid disruptions. We commend our students for their tenacity and resilience through some of the most difficult of times.
Year 12 students have been completing and submitting their various major projects during the past term. The HSC written exams commence on Tuesday, 9 November and continue for four weeks until Thursday, 2 December. Our Year 12 Valedictory Assembly is scheduled for Friday, 3 December.
There were a lot of fun and giggles, as well as the occasional hint of tears, as Year 12 spent Week 4 celebrating friendships and creating memories. We had all had a great time guessing their 'Come as Your Favourite Teacher' outfits, and enjoying their creativity during 'Dynamic Duo Tuesday'. On Friday, everyone turned up early to school in the pajamas for the traditional Year 12 Farewell Breakfast.
Special thanks to Ms Vicki Kelly and Mr Jason Molynoux for their generous support and kindness in their roles as Year 12 Advisors. Thanks also to Mr Vaughan and Mrs Holmes (Head Teacher, Stage 6) and Ms Hoddinott (Deputy Principal, Stage 6) for providing calm guidance whilst navigating a complicated year!
