Immerse Education Essay Competition
Win a full scholarship to the Immerse Summer School in Oxford, Cambridge, London or online!
The Immerse Education Essay Competition offers students the opportunity to win a 100% scholarship for one of Immerse Education’s award-winning residential or online academic programmes.
Students aged 13-18 are required to submit essay responses to a pre-set question relating to their chosen subject and age group. There is a category for every area of interest: medicine, computer science, physics, engineering, creative writing, English literature, and many others. The competition is a great way to practice your academic writing skills. Previous scholarship winners have referenced their success in the Essay Competition on their university application to the world’s top universities.
Deadline for online entries is 5 January 2022.

The first round of SRS offers will be released at 7:30am, 12 November. Make sure all preferences are in the preferred order by midnight Thursday!

Summer skills for school leavers
What:
Students will be able to undertake short, fee free vocational courses over the 2021/2022 summer period, offering training opportunities to assist them to transition into work.
Who is eligible:
Courses are open to school leavers or people out of school-aged 16 - 24.
How:
Students can register their interest to participate in their chosen industry through the QR code on the flyer provided.
The listed courses have been approved for delivery in New England, and the Summer Skills website will be updated as the courses become available for enrolments.
Final enrolments will not close until the end of February, and training can be completed until the end of April 2022. Plenty of time for a post HSC break, before jumping into some job ready training!
