Year 10 Sheep and Wool Judging
Last week the Year 10 students visited the Sheep section during their Animals class time to learn what is involved in and gain some practical experience in sheep and wool judging.
We would like to thank three visitors to the College who generously volunteered their time, sharing their knowledge and skills with our students. Darren Chapman (an ex-Narrogin Ag College student) focussed on Merino sheep as well as wool judging. Neroli and Brian Smith focused on judging the meat breeds of sheep.
A very special thank you to Darren, Neroli and Brian for supporting the College and our Year 10 students in this way. The students gained a great deal from your input.
This incursion was organised to help prepare our Year 10 students to participate in Junior Judging events at the Dinninup Show, that we are planning to have our Year 10 students involved in next term.
