Year 6 Report

Welcome back to Term 3! The Grade 6 team are excited for the events that are coming up this Term.  Some of the events coming up this term include:

• our Grade 5/6 camp 
• Book Week and Book Parade
• Science Week.

Literacy and Inquiry 

In Literacy and Inquiry this term the Grade 6 students will be reading, writing and researching about different countries around the world and the natural disasters that occur in these countries. Students will explore a variety of Australia's neighboring countries to learn about the way these natural disaster affect the natural environments of these places. 

Numeracy

In Numeracy this term, the Grade 6 students will be developing their multiplicative thinking skills. Students will be working through recalling skills, strategies to solve larger multiplication problems and applying these to everyday situations. Grade 6s will also develop their order of operations and angles knowledge through real world tasks and engaging games.
