Around the School
From The Office
UPCOMING CAMPS
Students in years 3 to 6 have been given the opportunity to attend camp this term.
We know that the students attending these camps are very excited and are looking forward to building on the school values and on their friendships with students in their year levels.
CAMP MEDICAL FORMS & MEDICINE
If your child is attending camp, remember, you MUST return the Medical Form. Additionally, if your child takes any medication that needs to go on camp, you need to supply this to Fay in First Aid at least two days prior to the camp. Fay will be following up with parents for forms and camp medication.
Years 3/4 Camp
55 students will be going to the CYC Adanac Camp in the picturesque Yarra Junction from Wednesday, August 2, to Friday, August 4.
All places have been filled for this camp, which has a total cost of $253. We would request that any parent who still has an outstanding amount to pay for this camp please finalise the payment.
Year 5/6 Camp
50 students are attending the Mount Evelyn YMCA camp, from Monday, August 14 to Wednesday, August 16.
The cost of the camp is $355, and parents are reminded that the full fee is now overdue. If you have a child attending camp, please finalise your payments.
PREP ENROLMENT FOR 2024
Do you have a child at home who is going to start school next year? If you have a child who is already 5, or will turn 5 before April 30, 2024, then they can start school next year. If you need to enrol your child, please visit the office and talk to Kate at reception. She will provide you with all the enrolment documents you need, and book you in for an information session.
AT SCHOOL MEDICINES
If your child has medication at school, such as Ventolin or an EpiPen, it is important that it is not past expiry date. Fay in First Aid is currently doing an audit of the medication at school and asking parents to bring in replacements of any medication that is old. Please make sure you keep the school supplied with medication that not expired - and that you inform the school if your child's medical needs change.
From The Library
Even though the wonderful Chris Quayle has retired (and we are wishing her the very best), the library at the school is still open each day before school for parents and students. You can visit the library, and catch up with the beautiful Vera, or one of our other magnificent ES staff, any morning between 8:30am and 8:50am. Staff will be delighted to see you!
