In Mathematics this week, we are learning to count and make representations of money.

Representations: Different ways of showing a value of money, using different notes and coins
ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Give your child some notes and coins, and ask them to find the total value. If you don’t have any, you could draw some. Then, ask them to write or draw a different way they could represent the same value of money.
For example- $5 could be represented as a $5 note OR two $2 coins and a $1 coin.
