We are learning to summarise a fiction text.
VOCABULARY
Summary: An overview of the story, only telling the important parts.
Fiction: A text type that is made up, including narratives or fairy tales.
SWBST:
S (Somebody): Who is the main character?
W (Wanted): What did the main character want or try to do?
B (But): The problem.
S (So): How the problem was solved.
T (Then): What happened at the end of the story? What was the lesson learnt?
