Principal's Update

Secondary School Transition Days

Horsham College has a transition day next Thursday, 27 July, for students who are attending the College in 2024. Ss Michael and John's Grade 6 students will attend transition days to St Brigid's College in term 4. Further information will be available closer to the date.

Shade Sails 

After much anticipation, Carey Covers arrived today to install our new shade sails. They have certainly added a pop of colour to our playground. The next project is to update the cover over the sandpit.

Winter Uniform Availability

Geoff at Hip Pocket Workwear has informed me that the girl's winter skirt and pinafores are now back in stock. Thanks to our models, Letty and Eadie.

Naplan Results

Grade 3 and 5 Naplan Reports are back and will be sent home to families in the coming week. Please put these results in a safe place, as they are often requested when enrolling students in secondary school.

An information page for parents is included as the NAPLAN report format has changed.

Take the time to read the results with your child and celebrate their achievements. If the report raises any concerns for you regarding your child's learning, please contact your child's teacher to arrange a meeting.

Kelly Sports Comes to SMJ

Bookings are still open for families wishing to have their children participate. 

STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES

Student Led Conferences continue this coming Monday and Tuesday evenings. If you need to book a time, please do so on PAM or SimonEverywhere. If no times are available or don't suit your work or family arrangements, please get in touch with your child's teacher directly. If you require assistance, please call Jane on 5382 3000.
