Book Week Dress up Parade 2023

Every year Murrumbeena Primary School celebrates Book Week with a dress up parade. Book Week celebrates how much we value reading, books and our wonderful Library. The Library will have a wonderful display of this year’s C.B.C.A. (Children’s Book Council Association) shortlisted books. The final official announcement of the C.B.C.A. winners is held on Friday 18th August and Book Week is held on Aug 19-25. Students will also be given the opportunity to nominate for their own favourite shortlisted book during their Library sessions.

This year’s theme is “Read, Grow, Inspire”

The parade will be held on the oval (weather permitting) in Week 7, on Thursday 24th August at 9:10am.

We look forward to seeing all the wonderful costumes and parents attending.
