Sporting Achievements

Congratulations to Eva who competed at the Qld cross country titles and pulled off an amazing effort to finish 9th in the state. Well done Eva! 

Congratulations to Alliah who was selected in the under 12 Oceanic girls rugby league team. Alliah competed at the South Coast carnival last week. Well done Alliah! 

Congratulations to Winnie and Elka who were both selected in the Qld team for Oztag. The girls will now travel to Coffs Harbour later this year to compete at the National titles later this year. Winnie was also selected in the South QLD touch team. Well done Winnie! 

Oceanic Track and Field

Congratulations to our students who have qualified in the Tallebudgera State School athletics team to compete at the Oceanic Track and Field Carnival on the 7 and 8 of August. The students were selected from our school athletics carnival held in term 2. Students are receiving their notes this week.

Interschool Sporting Gala Day Year 5 and 6

Students have started their training for our upcoming interschool sporting gala on Monday 21 August. Students will be competing against the other schools in their chosen sport of either cricket, touch football, tennis or volleyball. 

Queensland Allschools Oztag

Good luck to our year 5 and 6 girls who will be travelling to the Sunshine Coast next weekend for the annual Qld Allschools Oztag carnival. The girls have been training hard at lunchtime and before school. All the best for the carnival girls. 

Afterschool Sport

Our afterschool sport kicked off this week and we have a jam-packed couple of weeks of afterschool sport. 

Monday           Basketball x (paid) starting on 17/7/23 - 11/9/23

Tuesday           Tee ball (free) starting on 25/7/23 - 15/8/23

Wednesday    AFL (paid) starting on 2/8/23 - 6/9/23

Thursday         Golf (free) starting on 27/7/23 - 17/8/23
