Student Engagement

Over halfway through the term! We’ve had many changes of house point winners each week with students receiving extra recess and lots of chocolate rewards! We’ve even incorporated a few double house point days for students displaying our school values which has been heaps of fun!

We had our superhero day which was a focus on anti-bullying and ensuring our community know that we have a zero tolerance for bullying behaviours in our school. All grades completed activities in the classroom with a focus on what to do if we notice bullying, the consequences of bullying and how to help prevent it at O.P.S. We even had class capes that each student signed as a pledge! Well done to everyone that got involved and put the extra effortt ino their costumes - what an amazing day!

Our SRC has been busy getting ready for our upcoming OPS has talent afternoon. Our representatives have been speaking to our classes and gaining interest of which students would like to perform. We have a very impressive list of acts that will be viewed by the SRC before the concert day to ensure the acts are appropriate. We are looking forward to seeing what our creative students come up with!
