Foundation: Programmable Devices
This term, the Foundation students have been learning about programmable devices. Students have been using a robotic device called Blue-Bots. They have been investigating the different commands they can program for the Blue-Bot to follow. The students have had fun creating commands and watching the Blue-Bot go!!
1/2: Coding and Robotics
The 1/2 students have been learning about coding and programming. Students have continued using the programmable devices Cubetto and Sphero Indi. This term they have been working together to create a path for Indi to follow. Students have also been developing their basic coding skills and knowledge by completing an Hour of Code course on code.org
3/4: Animation
After spending lots of time planning and creating their resources, students have begun filming their stop motion animations. Students are using the app ‘Stop Motion Studio’ on iPads to film their animation. It is a very tedious process in which students can be taking up to 20 pictures for 1 second of film!!! Their animations are coming along nicely!

5/6: Minecraft Education
This term, the 5/6 students have been busy building their designed sustainable school in Minecraft Education. Students are using the design plans they created to help them build their school in Minecraft. Students began by laying their foundations and have been building the schools up from there! Students have thought carefully and creatively about the facilities and features of their schools.
