MS Readathon

Dear Parents,

Throughout the month of August, St John Vianney’s will be participating in the annual MS Readathon for the very first time.  The MS Readathon is an initiative that not only encourages young people to get involved in reading, but is also a great opportunity to raise funds and help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.

For those that don’t know, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that attacks the central nervous system.  Those living with MS often experience issues with mobility, chronic pain and fatigue as well as a wide range of other health issues.  While there is no known cure, there are forms of treatment to help aid those living with MS.  Thousands of people in Australia currently live with MS, including family members of those within our SJV community.

Children can be registered via the link below.

We encourage students, parents, and carers to share their fundraising pages with their friends and families as we raise money for this important cause.

Please note, all money raised by your children DOES NOT come to school but is collected online and will go straight to the MS organisation.

Many thanks for your support with our special fundraiser,

Michael Fantonial, Leanne Withers and Georgina Laming
