Basketball News

On Monday, 19th  September, the BMGS Swish team were presented with their Basketball badges in a special basketball assembly. The boys had an amazing season and deserve to feel really proud of how they played and conducted themselves throughout the season.

On Tuesday, 20th September the BMGS Stars had their last game for the winter season. We had eight players and it was great to finish with a win. Robert Sommerville, Claire Rutherford, Sebastian Nicholls and Emily Hyslop were our goal scorers and Christian McHugh, Hugo Courtemanche, Harrison Chalk and Madeleine Russell did an amazing job in defence. I am so proud of my team and how much they have improved over the season. I am excited to be coaching them again in the summer competition.

Anyone who is interested in getting in a bit of preseason practice or who would just like to learn a bit more about Basketball, then I encourage you to register for the holiday workshops in Blaxland. They are very popular so register quickly to avoid missing out.
