Wilderness Education

On Sunday, Year 9 Wild Ed students began a 3-day Adventurous Journey through Glenbrook National Park.

This was a true multi-skilled expedition involving Mountain Biking, Canoeing, Navigation and Camp craft. Not only did the students appreciate the adventure at hand, but they grew to understand the uniqueness of their surrounding landscape as they searched high and low for the plants that they had been tasked to ID.

Each student then presented a five minute Ranger talk about their researched plant in front of their peers.

With what felt like the perfect blend of fun, learning and adventure, it’s safe to say that it was a very successful trip!
