Stage 2 Camp

Wedderburn Christian Camp!

Stage 2 students went to Wedderburn Christian Camp Site this week.

Andrew and the other instructors provided the kids with 6 huge activities and they each had a challenge by choice, where the instructor would ask them if they wanted to push themselves another step, a little higher, or to run in a circle.

Each day we had 2 big activities, our 6 activities were:

- archery

- rock wall

- flying fox

- eco walk

- possum glider

- giant swing

Here's what some of our campers had to say:

Removing the Concrete

D Block students enjoyed watching the mound of concrete get removed from next to the block. Students watched as the tradesman used an excavator to load pieces of concrete into the back of trucks; cheering when they saw a large piece of concrete picked up. Students also got to see the excavator tools change to pick up the concrete in different ways and were extremely thankful when they got their handballs back! The students greatly enjoyed this learning experience!
